Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP MM-related issues and enhancements across the manufacturing site
- Support procurement, warehouse, and production teams in daily SAP MM transactions (e.g., purchase orders, goods receipts, material transfers)
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of master data (materials, BOMs, vendors, source lists, purchasing info records)Provide hands-on training and documentation for SAP MM users in procurement and production planning teams
- Collaborate with production planners, warehouse staff, and maintenance teams to align SAP processes with shop floor operations
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system or process issues; escalate to SAP support or consultants when necessary
- Participate in SAP improvement projects, rollouts, and upgrades—ensuring minimal disruption to production
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with system configuration testing related to MM processes
- Monitor inventory levels and movement accuracy in SAP to support just-in-time production and avoid stockouts or overstocking
- Ensure compliance with internal control and audit requirements through consistent SAP documentation and traceability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Key User or Analyst in a manufacturing setting
- Strong working knowledge of SAP MM processes including:
- Procurement (direct and indirect materials)
- Inventory management
- Stock transfers and movements
- Material master and vendor master data
- Goods receipt/invoice verification
- Familiarity with production-related SAP processes (integration with PP, WM, or PM modules)
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows, BOM structures, and MRP logic
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lean manufacturing or just-in-time (JIT) supply principles
- Understanding of cross-functional SAP modules (e.g., PP, WM, FI)
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or upgrade projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams on the shop floor
